Being a HUGE Outlander fan myself, I really get a kick out of finding “portmanteau” words, or words that might not exist in the dictionary, but that any Outlander fan would appreciate. Here’s a short list found in and around Outlander fandome (with a couple stemming from my own brain). Have any others? Would love to hear them! Please post your suggestions in the comments section.
Claire-ebration [klair-uh-brey-shuhn], noun
festivities engaged whenever an Outlander-related announcement is proclaimed.
Cracklander [krak-lan-der] noun
a drug stemmed from the mind of Diana Gabaldon, of which often causes hallucinogenic visions of bedding with Jamie Fraser.
Ginja [jin-juh], noun
a redheaded person who is also a ninja: Sam Heughan is a ginja.
Jamielicious [jey-mee-lish-uhs], adjective
a word to describe a kilted figure, especially one that is highly pleasing to the sense of sight, sound, smell, touch and/or taste.
Jamie-me [jey-mee-mee], verb
the act of speaking Gaelic or referring to another being as “Sassenach”: Ron, will you please Jamie-me tonight before bed?

James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser, bitches. ‘Nuff said.
Obsessenach [uhb-ses-uh-nuhkh], noun
someone who has thoughts or feelings dominated by the world of Outlander, and dreams of being called “Sassenach”.
Outlandone [out-lan-duhn], verb
to surpass all Outlander fan expectations: Diana Gabaldon has Outlandone herself in every way possible.
Outlanticipation [out-lan-tis-uh-pey-shuhn], noun
a state of impatience and eagerness in waiting for summer 2014!
Shipping [ship-ing], verb
having reasonable, or unreasonable, confidence that 2 people will form a relationship: Obsessenachs (see above), often execute shipping with Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, or with Sam and their self.
