Today STARZ announced yet another cast member. Meet James Fleet who will play the role of Reverend Wakefield. Wakefield is the amateur historian and genealogist who is Frank’s adviser in 1945. He is also the vicar of an Inverness parish and plays an important role in the lives of both Claire and Frank. Yay!

Where is the location of the parish house used by Reverend Wakefield and Fionna Graham? Is it part of a Catholic or Protestant church? Is it in Inverness? Location?? Thank you. Mary

Many of the indoor scenes were filmed in a sound stage at the Outlander set headquarters. Most of the outdoor scenes that you see of Frank and Claire on their honeymoon, like when they arrive at the Mrs. Baird’s B&B was filmed at Falkland Palace and Gardens.
